Laying The Cards, a series of miniature watercolors, invokes the spirit of a Tarot deck - each card a platform for imposed meaning. Laying The Cards was conceived as a modular poem, where the cards can be arranged in various constellations to build a variety of narratives, ranging from deep significance to absolute nonsense, depending on the person using the deck.
